It…has been a while, to say the least. I found out that I am going to be a bridesmaid in my best friends wedding in October, and that kind of made me realize that I was just sitting around, not doing anything.
The temperature has changed, days are longer, and the sun is out most days…and today was one beautiful day. So I opened my window, and hopped on my exercise bike for a few minutes. By few, I really mean few. I only did 15 minutes, which was about 3 miles…that’s what I usually average anyway. My bike is being stupid, so I had to go blindly on speed and all that because the display is messed.
I’ve been beating myself up for slacking off, but it was one thing after another for a month. I pretty much stayed sick with one random thing or another, and I honestly just got lazy after that. There’s nothing else to say than I just flat up didn’t feel like doing it.
But instead of beating myself up another day, and then munching down some chips because I made myself sad, I just got up and did a little something to get me going again. That’s what it’s about anyway. When you stop and fall off the wagon, freaking just get back on it. Even if it’s been a while and you are mad at yourself. You can either do something about it, or keep griping about how you stopped.
So I am doing something. I may stop again, because that’s me. I suck at doing things consistently- I always have. But I am good at starting again, haha. Here I go once again!
